房屋申请流程

• Step 1: Complete 杰克逊的大学 Admission Application

  申请房屋前, first you need to become a 杰克逊的大学 student by completing the admissions application. 在你被录取之后, you will receive a 杰克逊的大学 e-mail address and password that you will use to apply for housing.

• Step 2: Fill out 住宅应用程序/提交 Security Deposit

  提交住房申请, click the button below and log in with your 杰克逊的大学 e-mail address and password. Once you are logged in, click on the link for applications. Applicants under the age of 17 will need to contact the director of 居住生活 .

  A $300 security deposit PAID IN FULL is required to guarantee a space in Campus View Housing when submitting your housing application.

• 第三步:提交背景调查

  提交住房申请后, you will receive an e-mail with details on how to complete your background check. The background check is $35 and completed through Viewpoint. Once you have completed the background check application, you will receive confirmation from the background check company. 在你申请背景调查之后, the next step in the Housing process is to register for classes and secure financial aid.

  All 杰克逊的大学 students who reside in housing must complete a background check each semester they live on campus.

• Step 4: 注册课程 and 应用 for 金融援助

  The Housing Office will make every effort to process your application in a timely manner. The following items are needed before housing assignments are received.

  • 一个完整的 财政援助申请 must be submitted to the 金融援助 Office. You must be registered into 12 credit hours and meet the 学历要求s to live in housing. 金融援助 is located in Bert Walker Hall and can be reached at 517.796.8410.
  • 讨论课程安排, please schedule an appointment with a student success navigator by calling 517.796.8425.
• 第五步:接受房屋分配

  Housing assignments will be issued after the above steps are completed. Students MUST be enrolled in 12 credits and meet the 学历要求s to live in housing and receive an assignment.

• Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits for Fall and Spring semesters and at least 6 credits in the summer semester to reside in 杰克逊的大学 Housing.

按行政政策, 18岁以下学生, 征得父母同意, may live in housing if they turn 18 the semester they move in. 

重要的信息

• Future Campus View residents must have her/his 财政援助申请 submitted to 金融援助 Office, and ACT and Compass scores must be submitted to Records/学生服务, 在申请校园住房之前.
• Students wishing to live in housing must meet ongoing academic requirements and satisfactory academic progress (2.0 cumulative grade point average or higher).
